We want one. We want one right now.

This is something we’ve seen before. Beetle fenders made into minibikes using beetle fenders. As our colleagues at Rider have written, they’re both creepy and adorable. Walter Werks made the “Volkspods”, but this one is by another person, and it’s equally cute. More, even.

The Bugkart Wasowski is a Mexican creation by Aldekas Studio. You can also see that they are made from the fender of a VW Beetle Typ 1, which gives the go-kart an old school feel. We like it, if you ask us. We want one. We want one now.

Aldekas Studio is a specialist in restoration of vintage cars, especially Beetles. This should give them an edge in sourcing surplus Beetle fenders without them even knowing. It actually looks great, and I can picture the men chilling out one afternoon before the idea was realized. It must have been a lightbulb moment, but I digress.

Bright red frames are a great choice, as they pop against the olive green paint. Tan leather parts, especially on the seat and handles, are added to the design, along with chrome-plated side mirrors.

Aldekas Studio has yet to make this adorable AF go-kart. Although the images are real renderings, we don’t doubt that the final product will look something like these.

You don’t have to wait any longer, so you can reach out to the guys on their Facebook page and ask about their cute machine. They might offer an early bird discount, you never know.
