This Ford lifted with insane amounts of camber, and a Chevy engine seems to hover in the air as it goes off a ramp.
Warning: Watch out for people who react to this stunt with NSFW language. This is important to remember, regardless of where you are watching the clip.
California’s Hoonigan shop is a treasure trove of automotive goodness. There’s always something new at the shop. TerraCrew’s Michael Cox shows up in his modified 1991 Ford Bronco. This machine is capable of doing some amazing stunts.
Cox’s Bronco has Corvette-sourced HTML8 with an eight-into-1 exhaust system that exits from the passenger side front bumper. Although it looks strange, it sounds absurd. He claims that the suspension of the SUV has coilovers that are almost 30 years old. The parts were purchased from a man in a strip-club parking lot. Camber is also an issue on the front wheels of off-road tires.
Cox built his Bronco originally as a pre-runner to blasting through desert roads. He has been racing the SUV since recently.
The Bronco may have some oddities, but it doesn’t affect the SUV’s performance. Cox does some jumps and stacks two-decker ramps at the Hoonigan Shop. The Bronco seems to hang off the ramp like a bird, making it seem that the SUV defies physics.
Cox then takes the Bronco to jump over a friend in a beat-up BMW who is doing a burnout. To make this Fourth of July celebration of American automobile excess, all you need is fireworks. Bravo.
