A tiny house with a large garage.

My favorite hobby is looking at Zillow real estate. Although I am not looking for a home, I enjoy finding homes that fit my lifestyle. This house for rent in Wesley Chapel is an excellent example. I’ll explain why.

The garage is twice as big as the house in terms of square footage. The house is a manufactured home measuring just over 1,000 square feet. The detached garage measures in at 2,000 square feet. This is the ideal ratio for house storage to car storage.

Although manufactured homes are not the most beautiful, the photos show that this one was well maintained. These homes can be moved easily so that I could either buy a better, newer one or build something entirely new. My DINK-household does not need much space so a small footprint works well.

This garage is truly a gem. It has ample floor space to fit at least six cars. Additionally, the garage door is extra tall on both sides to allow for a large RV. The RV also has two 50-amp circuits as well as a black water sewer drain.

All I need will fit. This includes the low-mileage cars I plan to buy in the ’90s (1st- and 2-nd-gen Ford Lightnings), a Mercedes-Benz 500E and early ’90s Dodge Vipers, as well as a motorhome to escape the Florida heat.

There’s more! There is also a rock-rimmed pool that features a waterfall and lush vegetation. To protect our meat puppets from Florida’s insects-a-thon, it’s completely enclosed by screens. The rest of the property is a tropical paradise with a Tiki hut and plenty of outdoor entertaining space.

The best part? It’s only $450,000. It’s not cheap but it’s affordable for a property that can store up to half a dozen cars, without the need to have a mansion.
