Jay Kay is Jay’s ex-LaFerrari

Ferrari will soon unveiled a new supercar using the LaFerrari Aperta base. Although the bones of the model are from the LaFerrari, it was released in 2013. The Icona will use a different powertrain and no hybrid assistance. It’s still an amazing sight to see, even though it is almost nine years old.

TheTFJJ was able to film a rare LaFerrari in Monaco for their YouTube channel. This 2014 LaFerrari is currently registered in Wales. It has the rare Signal Green exterior. This LaFerrari looks familiar if you don’t believe so. It was once owned by Jay Kay of Jamiroquai.

The supercar was first listed for sale in April 2019. It had 1,900 miles (3.057 km) on the clock at that time. Although we don’t have the exact mileage, Jay Kay stated in 2011 that despite his passion for cars, he doesn’t drive much. The car was probably bought by someone who will likely drive it at least a little more.

It is great to see that the car is in a near perfect state. It is likely that the paint protection film, which was ordered by the previous owner, played a significant role in the preservation and maintenance of this LaFerrari. The new owner will hopefully make the necessary adjustments to the PPF.

The brand’s first hybrid model, the LaFerrari, was introduced in March 2013. The powertrain is powered by a 6.3-liter V12 engine with electric assist for a total system output of 950 horsepower (708 megawatts). The sprint from 0 to 62 miles per hour (100 km/h) takes less than three seconds and 124 mph (200 km/h) is done in seven seconds.
