This Porsche Cayenne Cabriolet concept is unlike anything else

It’s just as strange as the Nissan Murano Cross Cabriolet.

Porsche, a company that began car production in 1948 with its launch of the first 356, has seen many different concepts over the years. Stuttgart’s peeps are showing us their top five.

The clip begins with the Typ 754T7, which dates back to 1959. It was the foundation of the first-gen 911. You can clearly see the striking similarities between them, to the point that they almost look the same to an untrained eye.

Fast forward to 1988 and Porsche was the first person to propose a four-door sportscar. Although the original plan to produce the 989 was abandoned, the Porsche crest was still used on a four-door performance model that arrived 21 years later. While we are referring to the Panamera’s first generation, the 989 was a more elegant design. It’s a pity it didn’t make it to the production line.

The Cayenne Cariolet, a 2002 model, is now available to the public. It’s a sight to see, but not necessarily in an enjoyable way. It is a strangeball, much like the Nissan Murano Cross Cabriolet or the Range Rover Evoque Convertible. It’s surprising that it is included in the top 5, especially considering all of these other cars are more interesting.

The 918 Spyder concept, which was introduced in 2010, remains an amazing design. Porsche has done a great job of preserving the styling of the concept on the production model that was launched in the second quarter of 2013.

We will hopefully say the same about the final concept in the video, which is the amazing

Mission E. The all-electric sedan impressed the crowd at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show, where it was given its world premiere. Porsche promises that the 2019 production car will keep most of the design and technical specifications of the concept, so there is plenty to be excited about.
