This Russian Fires Down Mercedes-AMG GT63 S Out of Sheer Anoyance

What is the deal with these Russians?

Remember the unhappy Russian that dropped his Mercedes AMG G63 from a helicopter due to alleged reliability issues and after-sales service issues. It seems that there is a sequel, but this time it comes from another vlogger who had similar problems but was using a different Mercedes-Benz.

Mikhail Litvin, a Russian blogger was in constant conflict with a Mercedes dealer after he bought his Mercedes AMG GT 63S.

According to reports, his four door coupe broke down every time it was driven home from the dealer. The dealer claimed that he had sent his car five times to fix the problem. In all cases, the dealer found excuses not to repair the car or kept it for a few weeks.

Litvin eventually decided to send a message Mercedes-Benz. He set his AMG GT 63S on fire in the middle of a grassy, wet field. He drove away in his ZAZ 968m, or tried to drive away from it.

The embedded video on top was uploaded 24 hours earlier and has already been viewed over 6,000,000 times as of writing. It was sent with a Russian description, which when translated roughly, expressed Litvin’s thoughts about the car.

The true story behind this video will never be known. It’s possible that it was a publicity stunt or a voluntary act of sheer frustration. This is similar to the claim about the AMG G63 being dropped from a helicopter. One thing is certain: it’s expensive and we don’t know if the YouTube hits will cover the costs.
