You still have time to place your bid on this Corolla iM from Papadakis Racing.
Toyota displayed custom Corollas, Tundras at 2018 SEMA. One of the highlights was the Toyota Corolla Hatchback drift vehicle by Papadakis Racing. The racecar was purpose-built to thrill all who are behind the wheel. However, only a few people could afford to have the chance to drive it. If you aren’t connected to Papadakis Racing then there’s a good chance you have already driven this crazy hatchback.
You have until Saturday to bid on the SEMA-showcased hatchback’s older brother, Bring a Trailer.
The 2017 Corolla iM Formula Drift Car features widebody kits, custom matte-black and yellow livery with Rockstar Racing stickers, and a modified rear-wheel drivetrain. Papadakis Racing built the car and Fredric Aasbo, racing driver, campaigned it in the 2017 Formula Drift Pro Championship.
Powering the drift car is a longitudinally-mounted 2.7-liter turbo four-pot engine that sends power to the rear wheels via a G-Force four-speed manual transmission and a carbon fiber driveshaft. It also features a 10.5 to1 JE piston, a BorgWarner turbocharger and AEM fuel injection. The drift car also has a custom RS–R suspension setup that allows for 65 degrees of steering angle.
We have our opinion on the 2019 Corolla Hatchback.
The 2017 Corolla iM Formula Drift Car has a stripped-down interior, which is housed in the chassis-welded roll box. The race-prepped cabin includes Takata racing seats, an adjustable Sparco steering wheel and a custom instrument panel.
The 2017 Corolla iM Formula Drift Car is available with spare parts and wheels. Also, the seller has a California non-op California registration. This crazy build is available for bidding until Saturday, February 23rd 2019. To visit Bring a Trailer, click the link below.
