Two hybrid Suzuki vehicles will be released in Europe by Suzuki.
Toyota, Suzuki will continue to expand their technology partner by collaborating in new areas as a result a newly signed agreement. On February 6, 2017, the two companies signed a memorandum d’ understanding . They are now looking at ways to strengthen their partnership and make it more efficient. Toyota will supply Suzuki hybrid technologies as part of the new contract. Toyota will also supply Suzuki with two electrified vehicles: the RAV4 Wagon and Corolla Wagon for European market release. Suzuki of India will also benefit from hybrid technologies to local distribution.
Suzuki will provide two compact cars, the Ciaz, and the Ertiga in return. These will be rebadged for Indian markets by Toyota. Toyota will also receive Suzuki engines to make compact cars. They will be produced in Poland for distribution on the Old Continent. Toyota will rebadge and sell the Baleno and Vitara Brezza, Ciaz and Ertiga, as well as the Baleno and Ciaz .Both automakers will develop a new C segment MPV, which will feature both the Suzuki and Toyota logos. This model will only be made for India and the region.
