Toyota collaborates with the fashion label to create a compact crossover that is stylish and practical.
Toyota of Thailand teams up with Karl Lagerfeld, a fashion brand that is well-known for creating haute couture editions of the CHR. The crossover’s chic design features a black-and-white two-tone interior and exterior color scheme. The stylish model is priced in Thailand at 1,219,000 Thai Baht (current exchange rates: $37,686).
The Toyota CHR Limited Edition’s exterior features Pearl White elements for the roof, mirror caps and front bumper lip. It also includes side skirts, rear spoiler trim, and rear spoiler. A white decal runs underneath the side windows and is a Karl Lagerfeld emblem. It can be found above the rear fenders. The outside of the vehicle is all black, with the exception of the 17-inch wheels.
The dashboard is finished with a white stripe and Karl Lagerfeld branding. The leather-upholstered shoulder parts of the seats are also made in white.
A variety of accessories are also available with the C-HR branding by Karl Lagerfeld. These accessories include a piece luggage, a handbag and a hat as well as a keychain.
The C-HR by Karl Lagerfeld seems to have been created specifically for Toyota’s Thailand office. Don’t expect to find the more expensive version anywhere else. Although the two-tone colour scheme is quite attractive, the Lagerfeld branding makes it very ostentatious.
Toyota in the United States has just updated the CHR for the 2020 model-year. The crossover’s appearance was slightly altered by changes to the grille and headlights as well as the front bumper. The new exterior colors Supersonic Red or Hot Lava Orange were also introduced by the company. The infotainment system has Android Auto and Amazon Alexa compatibility. This is in addition to Apple CarPlay.
