Although it wasn’t bad, there was a reason that almost every Supra monster you see is pulling straight lines and not doing canyon runs.

Is this a sign that the Supra’s reborn version is ready to make corners? While we haven’t been able to share our first impressions of the model yet, we did enjoy our time in the Supra prototype last summer. It is always possible to make changes between production-spec models and preproduction prototypes. This will be interesting to see what they are.

The first Supra model to hit dealers will soon be available. The production of the sleek BMW-shared sport car began in March. It was followed by the sale of the first production model for $2.1 million at Scottsdale’s 2019 Barrett-Jackson auction. This summer will see the arrival of the first 1,500 launch edition cars in showrooms. Standard models will follow in the fall.
