Toyota FJ Cruiser is scrapped, and company launches Trail Teams Ultimate Edition to celebrate

Toyota’s 2014 FJ Cruiser Trail Teams Ultimate Edition has been introduced at SEMA.

The model is described as a “commemorative last special edition” and will herald the end of FJ Cruiser, which is being phased off at the close of the 2014 model year.

This model features a Heritage Blue exterior and a white grille. It also has 16-inch beadlock wheels with BF Goodrich A/T KO tires. Special editions include a TRD front skid plate and a roof rack, as well as a TRD offroad suspension.The interior changes are minimal, but include a leather-wrapped steering column, a floating-ball multi-information display and a stainless-steel FJ Cruiser Ultimate Edition dash plate.

FJ Cruiser Trail Team Ultimate Edition will only be available with four-wheel drive. It will also come with Active Traction Control and Vehicle Ski Control.The production will be limited to just 2,500 units, and the first models will arrive in U.S. dealers by February.
