It will be on display at the Tokyo Auto Salon 2019 next month.
We have been sharing lots of content about the upcoming. Tokyo Auto Salon We thought the Toyota Hilux Black Rally Edition was a worthy recipient of its fame, even though it will continue to be a Japan-only model. The Brazilian launch of the Toyota Hilux Black Rally Edition follows. Gazoo Racing-branded Hilux Toyota modified its workhorse at the Sao Paulo Motor Show last month for a special edition that included a variety of goodies from the Toyota Racing Development division.
Apart from the obvious TRD branding the new Hilux Black Rally Edition comes on black alloy wheels with a double-spoke design. It also has side steps, side decals and a chromed dual exhaust system. To really emphasize the point, mud flaps with lettering and some red accents have been added. A red fuel cap with TRD branding and a sports bar round out the upgrades.
The Hilux Black Rally Edition is available in extended cab and crew cab body styles. It will be joined by another Toyota modified using TRD parts, the Prius facelifted earlier this week.
The main attraction on the company’s Japan stand will be the GR Supra Super GT which will likely show off a future Super GT-spec racecar based upon the highly anticipated fifth-generation Supra. The Detroit Auto Show will host the premiere of the road car later in January.
