Toyota Hilux is transformed into a golf club car for ridiculous fun

Golf carts are not new. Although they have been around for many years on retirement communities and golf courses, a golf cart is a new invention. This bizarre creation came from the How Ridiculous YouTube Channel. It attached a car-sized, nondescript golf club to the front end of a Toyota Hilux with the oversized shaft. The idea is to see how far the modified pickup will hit different-sized balls on a quarter-mile drag strip.

This sounds like a lot of dumb fun. Although the oversized golf club appears ridiculous attached to the Toyota’s front, it still looks like a genuine golf club. The iron attaches to the truck’s chassis using corrugated steel. Before the games can begin, the channel tests the club by hitting watermelon and a water balloon.

The game’s name was “See how far your car can launch the balls.” The test included a rubber ball, football, rubber baseball, volleyball and basketball. The game did not go as smoothly and naturally as you would expect. The large rubber ball flew off the track completely, and its large surface area immediately slowed it down after it got air. The distance it flew into the grass was 70 meters (229 Feet).

Another example was when the Hilux went into limp mode. This reduced the truck’s speed as it collided against one of the balls. Rubber band balls were the fastest, reaching 332 meters (1,089 feet). It was able to cruise past the second-place golf ball which reached 283 metres (961 Feet). Although the video does not prove anything, it is possible to build a golf club car. This could be an example of a new sport league.
