Toyota Supra 3000GT Concept Shown With Big Wing for SEMA

The 1994 TRD3000GT inspired the vented hood.

The Toyota Supra 3000GT concept has been revealed in new teaser photos and a video ahead of its debut at the 2019 SEMA Show. Although the company has not released any information about the model, the images are enough to make you excited.

These photos show that the vehicle’s hood is cut with vents in the back. The back of the vehicle has a huge rear wing.

Although it is not known if TRD plans to produce these parts, the possibility seems plausible. TRD has already introduced a Supra body kit and sold the parts in Japan.

Toyota’s teaser video suggests that the new model is based on the 1994 Toyota Supra TRD3000GT Concept (see gallery below). This model was inspired by the race version of the car at the time, with a large wing, wide fenders and vented hood.
The new Supra 3000GT’s powertrain modifications are not yet known. SEMA is a great venue for the company’s performance parts to be revealed, rather than just cosmetic tweaks. Third-party tunes are already capable of pushing the BMW-sourced engine to 1,000 HP (746 kilowatts with an extensive overhaul, or 393 kW (393 hp) at the wheels without too many modifications.

Tuning the New Toyota Supra

TRD’s 3000GT Supra won’t be TEMA’s only Supra this year. Artisan Spirits is going to unveil a coupe body kit that will make it subtly aggressive. Evasive Motors will also be present with a kit to give the car an even more slender appearance.
