Toyota Supra Happy Meal Toy Makes Us Feel Jealous For Japanese Children

Toyota promotes it by having Supras glide around huge burgers or fries.

Do you remember the joy of being a child when you bought a McDonald’s Happy Meal, ate the fries, and then pulled out a toy? Toyota ignites the automotive passion of Japanese children (and possibly some adults) by introducing a red Supra to the Happy Set , the country’s name for Happy Meal.

Toyota will release a promo video about the toy on 28 April. The teaser above shows two Supras in tandem, eating a huge burger and fries. It would be even better if Ronald McDonald was behind the wheel.

The Supra is a Japanese toy car from the Tomica series. The new Toyota sports car is not among the Tomica models available in the United States.

Motor1.com readers don’t live in Japan. This makes this Happy Set out of reach. Tomica offers a toy almost identical to the one at McDonald’s. Companies like Hobby Link Japan or Hobby Search make it easy to import one. The car can also be purchased at a reasonable price of $3.53 and $3.96 on these websites.
