Toyota Supra Shooting brake is a nod to the BMW Z3 M Coupe

We are now talking.

Now that the new Toyota Supra is out, it’s time to wait for the first behind-the wheel impressions and then, of course, until we get our turn to test drive the sports car. It’s likely that this will not take too much time, but even if it does, there are many Supra-related events still to come, including the first real world tuning projects, and even cool renderings. Rain Prisk, a talented designer, created this rendering.

Rain Prisk can also be described as Liberty Walk’s virtual counterpart. Nearly all of his creations are wide and wild. Some even have modifications to the body’s proportions and shapes. His latest creation is a Supra Shooting Brake. It is stunning, dare I say.

This car is a combination of everything we love about Supra’s new design. Even though the BMW hardware beneath the skin may not be to everyone’s liking, it features a striking brake profile that looks like it was inspired by the original BMW Z3M Coupe. This rendering is even more logical, as the Supra shares quite a bit with Z4.

Rain Prisk’s rendering adds a lower suspension, wider wheel arches and a new set aftermarket wheels. These oddly have four lug nuts, instead of the five on the real car.

Auto enthusiasts seem to love his idea, judging by the comments below Prisk’s digital creation. Many of them agree that the shooting brake is better than the actual car, and encourage the designer to show it off to Toyota. Well done!
