Trevor Bauer’s McLaren 650S is damaged by Semi’s loose tire

When the tire fell out of the window, the supercar was in McLaren’s showroom.

A 2016 McLaren650S owned and driven by Trevor Bauer sustained serious damage after a sudden encounter with a flat tire. The accident took place in Houston, Texas. However, the supercar owned by Trevor Bauer was not on the road at the time. Instead, the car was at the local McLaren dealership, where it was resting inside.

According to several reports, the semi’s tire reportedly flew off the highway and hit the building’s wall. Then it ricocheted into a glass window and landed on McLaren. To share an image of what happened, a Cincinnati Reds pitcher went Tweet to show the aftermath. Although it may not appear like it, many believe the car has been totaled.

The glass is half full and it could have ended worse if the force of impact had caused serious injuries to an employee at the dealership. The tire hit the window of the 650S and struck the car of the 28-year old baseball player. Fortunately, no one was there. The McLaren was valued at around $300,000.
