The turbo 2.5-liter engine produces a lot more power.
AutoTopNL posted a video last month showing a tuned Audi RS3 Sportback driving at a crazy 193 miles an hour (319 km per hour) on the German Autobahn. However, the video did not show off the speedometer which isn’t very exciting. A new video posted by the same channel this week shows the driver’s point of view on the high-speed run, including some failed attempts and some spectacular speeds as the car blasts past traffic. It is actually the RS3 Sportback
Although it took several attempts to locate a section of road that would permit the high-speed run it was able to do it after traffic cleared. The car reached speeds of 124 mph (200 km/h) on several high-speed runs. However, the final run is the highest-speed. The car hits 124 mph in nine seconds, after which it stops at a stop. It takes 20 seconds to reach 184 mph (390 kph), but the car’s acceleration slows down.
The car has a limit on power and was at its limits towards the end. The tuned 2.5-liter five cylinder engine produces 666 horsepower (497 Kilowatts) as well as 590 pound-feet (890 Newton-meters). This is transmitted through Audi’s Quattro four-wheel-drive system. This engine produces a lot more power than the stock model, which makes 395 horsepower (294 kW) and 354 pounds (480 Nm).
The POV video brings back the sense of danger and speed that was lost in the previous video. The speed at which the RSS3 is traveling helps you to see the greenery disappear into blur. It’s amazing to see vehicles rapidly grow in size, before disappearing down the Autobahn.
