A German tuner will install its own supercharger system on the BMW M3 GTS racing car. The tuner has received the first of three units. We will be sharing more details soon.
G-Power received its first M3 GTS to allow it to tune to the oil-pumping heart’s desires.
It took a while for the German tuner to be able to purchase a BMW M3 GTS. Since the announcement of the model in late 2009, only 220 M3 GTSs have been manufactured.
The first of three units is now available and G-Power promises to increase total output to over 600 PS (441 kW) using a modified version its G-Power SK II CS supercharger.
Standard BMW M3 GTS has a 4.4-liter V8 that produces 450 PS (331kW/ 444 bhp). This is dialed down only marginally to 30 PS (22kW/ 29.5 HP) over the standard M3. The 7-speed M dual clutch transmission is standard. It also features carbon fiber aerodynamic parts, lightweight bodies panels, and a titanium exhaust.
G-Power can’t wait for its M3 GTS to race on the club circuit against the Porsche 911 GT3 RS.
We will keep you posted on further details.
