Many exterior parts are from an AMG GT R Pro.
German shop BS Teile Center specializes in selling Mercedes parts, especially for AMG models. As part of the BSTC-Performance label, the company has just completed its latest project. It loaded a Mercedes-AMG GT R with parts from Pro models. There are also engine modifications that increase the power output to 891 horsepower (664 Kilowatts or 903 Metric hp).
The AMGGT R stock is equipped with a twin-turbocharged 4.0 liter V8 that produces 577 hp (430 kW). The major power upgrade was done by BS Teile Center. Weistec Engineering W. was chosen to replace the original turbochargers. The red housings give the engine a pop of color when it is open. These improvements include an ARMA carbon fiber intake, Wagner air coolers, and IPE downpipes that have 200-cell sport catalytic convertors.
The original AMG GT R seven-speed gearbox is still available, but BS Teile Center has upgraded it with a reinforced clutch and seven-speed gearbox. This should make the transmission more capable of handling the huge power increase.
Many exterior modifications take advantage of BS Teile Center’s access to used AMG parts. Front bumper, bumper, side skirts and bumper are all from a GT R Pro. The taillamps and headlights are brand new and the builder adds their name to each side.
Also from GT R Pro are the 20-inch wheels in titanium gray matte. They are wrapped with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup II tires.
This treatment is also given to the brakes. The GT R Pro’s gold calipers are removed and the GT R Pro’s black calipers are installed.
The creation of BS Teile Center is even more impressive than Mercedes-AMG’s GT Black Series which ranks at the top of its range. The twin-turbo, 4.0-liter V8 is equipped with a flat-plane crankshaft. It produces 720 horsepower (537.5 kilowatts) as well as 590 pound-feet (801 Newton-meters) in torque. This power is sufficient to reach 60 mph in 3.1 seconds, with a top speed of 202 MPH (325 km/h).
The tuned GT Pro doesn’t have the Black Series’ aero goodies like an electronically-adjustable section of its rear wing and nine levels of selectable traction control.
