The 80’s Kit is also offered by the company, which draws inspiration from older Toyota SUVs and trucks.
DAMD, a Japanese body kit manufacturer, has a penchant for quirky designs. They are called the Little D, and to be the 80’s. Let’s start with the Little D, a name that raises eyebrows. Land Rover Defender Little D. was born. The main changes include a new bumper, grille and hood cover, which follow the design of the classic British off-roader. The hood edge is marked with letters that spell out “LITTLE DR” in a similar fashion to how Land Rover designs its vehicles. A smaller, oval-shaped green badge is also available that evokes Land Rover’s emblem but has Little D inside.
DAMD also offers a decal with the British Union Jack and “Adventure of a Lifetime” message. Next to the words is an image of what appears like a miniature pinscher. You can also get a roof rack with wood accents. The company also offers a green plaid fabric for the seats and black vinyl edges on the chairs. This pattern is also available in Gray and Royal Red.
The Taft’s 80’s kit evokes 1980s Toyota pickup trucks and pickups, with their bright stripes running along the sides. This kit features a new bumper, grille and hood cover, which are identical to the Toyota Land Cruiser 60- and 70 series generations. As an option, the Little D roof rack is also available. You can also choose from the same interior upholstery options.
If you love the look of the Little D, but prefer the appearance on a more rugged vehicle DAMD has introduced a kit that shares the same name as the Suzuki Jimny.
