This could be the perfect E Type?
A Jaguar E-Type is up for sale in the U.K. Despite having lived almost its entire life in America, it is extremely rare.
The Series 1 Jaguar E-Type roadster, a 4.2-liter Jaguar E-Type, was first delivered to Richard J Neilam in California in 1967. It was then brought to the United Kingdom in 2011, when single-model specialists E-Type UK started a complete restoration. This company has been restoring E-Types for more than a decade and upgraded the car and its V8 engine to modern standards. It also converted the vehicle to U.K. specifications.
This involved changing it from right-hand drive to right-hand drive, upgrading its triple SU carburetor, closing the headlights and installing a Series 1 dash converter. The new five-speed gearbox, an aluminium radiator, header tank, electronic ignition, and wider triple-lace wheels were all added. However, the original British Racing Green paintwork was retained.
This stunning 1967 E-Type is an excellent example of what E-Type UK can do. Marcus Holland, E-Type UK’s managing director and owner, said that the vehicle has been updated by his team to meet modern requirements and conform to U.K spec. “The result is amazing,” he added. This is your chance to be the lucky owner of a Jaguar that’s ready for you to get on the road.
It is an E-Type in every way, thanks to its restoration and the modifications it received. It even has all the UK documentation and an MOT (an annual test of vehicle safety), as well as the original manual and heritage certificate. Perfect.
