The entry-level Mustang GT King Edition has a 5.0-liter V8 motor that has been upgraded with a supercharger and an optimized ECU. It also features a MagnaFlow exhaust and cold air intake. It can produce 670 horsepower (499 kW), which is 43 bhp (32.2 kW) higher than the previous year’s model. A supercharger upgrade package is also available by the company, which increases output to 727 bhp (542kW).
The model is equipped with an upgraded engine, adjustable sway bars and a stronger rear axle. Halfshafts from Ford Performance TrakPak are also included. A rear diffuser, a central-mounted exhaust, and 20-inch HRE wheels with Continental Extreme Performance Summer tires are some other highlights. The model also has an upgraded interior with embroidered headrests, special floor mats, an individually-numbered plaque and a new shift knob.
The King Premier Edition is a step above the rest with a high-performance brake system, a tricolor stripe package and a custom leather interior.
The production will be limited to 300 units. This includes 243 King Editions as well as 43 King Premiers and 14 King Premier Convertibles. Prices start at $67,495 on entry-level models, and $90,495 on King Premier variants.
