Aspid has released the first details of their forthcoming GT-21 Invictus.
The Super Sport model is based on the Super Sport and rides on an aluminum 80 kg (176 lb.) chassis. It also features a composite body that looks like a futuristic Plymouth Prowler.
Despite its retro exterior, the car is very modern thanks to the dual-screen UniDrive infotainment systems (with GSM/GPRS/GPS/WiFi) as well as an innovative twin-disc brake system that is light and virtually eliminates heat.
Although interior photos were not made public, the GT-21 can be outfitted with over 100 options, including a rear-seat. The boot can also hold 275 liters (9.7 cube feet) of luggage.
The BMW-sourced 4.4-liter (4361cc) V8 engine produces 450 PS (331kW / 444 HP) and 440 Nm (325lb-ft). You can connect it to either a 6-speed manual transmission or a 7-speed dual clutch transmission. The 965kg (2,127lb) sports car can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in under three seconds and reach a top speed at 305 km/h (189 MPH).
If all goes according to plan, then the first model will be in production in two years. 250 GT-21s will also be produced annually.
