This wild crash resulted in no serious injuries.

Amazingly, there were only two injuries from the dramatic crash. None of them were serious. This is not because the car involved in the crash soared through the air and struck a building. It struck a Wendy’s fast food restaurant during weekday lunch rush. Yikes.

Monday, August 16, at approximately 1:00 PM local time, in South Brunswick, New Jersey. South Brunswick Township Police Department posted the incident to its Twitter account. It showed a dramatic scene of a crash with one car on its side, and another car that was severely damaged in front. According to the post firefighters had to rescue the driver from the car.

The South Brunswick PD shared a second video on August 19, which shows surveillance footage that captures the accident as it occurred. It’s even more shocking. In the upper right corner, the car appears and crashes into parked cars. It then hits its nose hard, causing it to impact another car in the drive-through lane. The car crashes into the outside dining area at its front corner, hitting a table adjacent to which is an empty seat.

WJHL stated that the car in question was a Toyota Corolla. The crash occurred due to an alleged medical event. The Corolla collided with an Audi in a drive-through lane. Both vehicles then hit the building, causing extensive damage. There were no injuries reported from the inside of the restaurant, despite the debris and collision. The driver was taken from the Toyota and placed in stable condition at a local hospital. A child in the Audi complained of pain. According to the report, the child’s family took him to the hospital as an precaution.

It is amazing that there weren’t any additional injuries, considering the crash occurred at one of the busiest times of day for the restaurant. Keep safe, everyone.
