A new Corvette Stingray concept is featured amongst the cars. Chevrolet released footage of their vehicles that will be featured prominently in the Transformers Revenge of the Fallen. A brand new Corvette concept was also shown in the footage. The video features five Chevy models, along with Optimus Prime (a truck) and a GMC pick up. Autobots are used to show all of the vehicles. Chevrolet Autobots featured in the advertisement include a Corvette Stingray Concept (Sideswipe), Chevy Beat(Skids), Chevy Trax, Mudflap), Chevy Trax and a new Chevy Camaro (“Bumblebee”) Optimus Prime is a Peterbilt 379 full size truck. Ironside is the GMC Topkick. Chevy’s press release states that these characters will “roll through the movie fighting Septicons — or other machines with evil intent.” They must have meant “Decepticons” rather than “Septicons.” Here’s a joke about a toilet or sewer. For the past few years, Corvette Stingray’s new concept has been kept under wraps. The new Corvette Stingray concept is based upon the original Stingray racer that was unveiled in 1959. Many fans will love to see it again with its split rear window. The company does not plan to bring these classic elements back on the market. Transformers director Michael Bay spotted it while he was touring the facility. Other models will also be available. Next month will see the Camaro and Volt debut. The 2012 model year will see the Spark debut. Transformers Revenge of the Fallen will debut in Russia on June 18, and Spain the next day. The film will be available in most major markets, including the U.S.A and U.K., a week later.
