All of this adds up over to two tons more weight.
We’ve seen multiple versions of armored Mercedes AMG G63 SUVs. We don’t know why, maybe because the G63 is associated with mafias. We don’t know, but the shape of the G63 makes it a great platform for armor plating.
Inkas was able to bulletproof a G-Wagen. Armored Guard attempted the same feat. The German tuner Mansory made one, and transformed the SUV from an off-road vehicle into a luxurious cocoon.
Another German, Brabus, also took part in adding ballistic protection for a G63. Invicto, a tuning company that has created some of the most beautiful Mercedes-Benz cars, was launched last year. It comes in three flavors: Mission, Luxury, or Pure. This is the Mission trim. The tour will show you everything it comes with, including the high price.
The Brabus Invicto G-Wagen has VR6 ballistic resistance and the option to upgrade to VR6 Plus EVRV (Explosion Resistant Vehicle). The Invicto Mission trim has vest-compatible seats because it is intended to transport VIPs in “special target groups”.
This SUV is 2,205 pounds lighter than its predecessor (1,000 kg) and has an extra protection package. However, the engine inside the bonnet has received an upgrade. Brabus B40S800 performance kit provides the power and torque for this powerful machine. It can produce 789 horsepower (588kilowatts) as well as 737 lbft (1,000 Newton-meters)
