The 2013 model ran under ideal weather conditions at Palm Beach International Raceway. It beat the 2012 record of 11.07 @124mph and the fastest time was 10.87 seconds at 125.2 mph. This results in a 0-60mph time of just 2.75 seconds, 60-130mph speed of 8.89 seconds, and peak G-forces exceeding 1.3 G’s. These figures were taken on launch. Racelogic’s VBOX compiled the figures.

DragTimes.com attributes this performance increase to the GT-R’s 2013 model year updates that include more power, torque, and an updated LC5 Launch Controller system. The 2013 GT-R is capable of producing 545 horsepower (406 kW/ 553 PS) as well as 463 lb-ft (627Nm) of torque. This is an increase of 15 HP (11 kW/ 15 PS) or 15 lb-ft (20Nm) over 2012 model (U.S. specification).
