Yakety Sax is the best thing to spice up a police chase video! You can read more about the chase in Southern California here.
On the 10th of April 2009, police officers in California became frustrated when they spent part of their morning following 47-year-old Peggy Ann Boesing. The video will hopefully make the people involved laugh by showing Yakety Sax playing in the background.
Although we know that the video isn’t new, it still makes us smile.
According to reports, the chase started in Long Beach, California after police received complaints about a woman screaming. Officers responded to the call and found Signal Hill resident driving a Scion xB, cutting off car after car.
The chase started when Boesing tried to pull the patrol over. Boesing drove at speeds of over 100 mph and led officers for 60 miles on five different highways. Boesing eventually began to drive around cop cars, shouting and gesturing wildly at anyone trying to pull her over.
Boesing was unable to stop the Scion from spinning out after a PIT maneuver smashed its bumper. She tormented police and at one point, even got out of her car. Seven police cars eventually pinned her down.
The entire ordeal lasted approximately an hour and ended in Las Flores. Boesing was arrested for assault with a deadly weapons on a police officer and felony evading.
