It is interesting to see how it compares against the AMG Line version as well as the Night Package.

In almost all cases, we see a new model in its official photos and then at major auto shows in its highest specification with all the bells and whistles. Sometimes, automakers will surprise us with photos of the entry-level trim of a model, as is the case with Mercedes and its fourth generation hatchback.

The compact five-door model rides on 16-inch steel wheels with hubcaps. It eschews full-LED headlights in favor of more simple halogen lights that use light-emitting diodes for daytime running lights. The A250 model has the same steel wheels, but is a full inch larger.

Although the exterior may make it seem like the car doesn’t deserve its premium status, interior design is quite beautiful even with its most basic configuration. A digital instrument cluster is included in the cheapest A-Class hatch, along with an infotainment system. It has a 7-inch display and an infotainment system. The top-of-the range system features dual 10.25 inch displays. Customers can choose to spend more or to settle for the middle-range version that combines a 7.25-inch driver’s screen with 10.25-inch infotainment.

The A-Class standard in Germany comes with fabric upholstery, a one-zone automatic temperature control system and a one zone climate control system. However, it isn’t lacking in equipment. It comes with features such as cruise control and rain sensor. Keyless go and a multifunction sports steering wheel are also standard. Safety features like active brake, lane keeping and attention assist are all included.

Mercedes released photos of the A-Class in AMG Line flavor (silver vehicle) and also some photos showing the hatchback with the optional Night Package.
