The second half of 2023 will see the first deliveries, initially in China.
Yesterday, the Volkswagen Group held its annual press conference during which it teased a brand new concept car. The new EV, currently called the Aero B, is back in a complete design sketch that was released at the annual media conference of the VW core brand. The sedan, or is it a liftback? Next month, the Beijing Auto Show in China will unveil the sedan.
The new Aero B is a VW-designed electric vehicle that will be the successor to the Passat. First deliveries are scheduled for the second quarter of 2023. We are not surprised that the EV will be launched in China. We don’t know much about the production version, but we do know that the concept will arrive in April with 435 miles (700 km) of range.
Ralf Brandstatter, VW’s brand boss, made the important announcement. He stated that it would be the next ID model after the ID. Buzz. Buzz. For the next electric car, which will also be based on the ubiquitous MEB platform, a spacious interior has been promised.
Next month’s concept will be an improved version of the ID. Vizzion at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show. An ID was created from the original showcar. Space Vizzion was originally a wagon. We look forward to seeing a road-going version of this long-roof model down the road.
Ralf Brandstatter, an EV expert, stated that an entry-level vehicle is expected to be on the streets by 2025. The ID has seen it. The Life concept will be based on the MEB Small platform and have a front-wheel drive configuration. This is in contrast to the MEB’s RWD arrangement. The e-up! will be replaced by the future production model, which is again available for order in Europe. SEAT and Skoda will receive identical models to replace the Mii Electric, Citigo e iV and Citigo e iV.
