Jayco Australia and Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles Australia have partnered to bring the Crafter Kampervan to that market. The brand’s top-of-the-line RV is located there, above the Multivan California and Caddy California.

Crafter Kampervan measures 268 ins (6.8 m) long by 78.74 in (2 m) wide. There are three trim levels: Kampervan Style, Kampervan Style and a grade with Seikel off-road equipment. This rugged version features a 1.181 inch (30-millimeters) suspension lift, skid plates and protection for the rear shocks. It also has steel wheels with all-terrain tire. An additional option is a snorkel.

The RV can be purchased in seven colors and four are available in two-tone combinations. A awning is a standard feature on the exterior.

The rear seats can be folded into a double bed. You can also convert the front seats into a daybed. The Kampervan is equipped with an air conditioner, two fans and a heater for camping in Australia. A diesel heater is available if it gets too cold.

These photos show the Kampervan in a modern-looking cabin. White walls, ceilings, and cabinetry can be seen throughout the Kampervan. The back bed is very light grey. The floor is finished in a light wood shade. The floor’s pale color scheme makes it easy to see if there is any spillage.

The kitchen includes a microwave, a fridge, and a gas stove. A full bathroom is available with a toilet, shower and washbasin. VW has not yet specified the dimensions of the water containers.

There’s also a TV and a Wi Fi extender for entertainment. Kampervan is equipped with a solar system and a lithium house battery. This system is currently not described.

According to Australian website Car Expert, the engine produces 174 horsepower (130kilowatts) as well as 302 pound-feet (314 Newton-meters) torque. The Kampervan is equipped with VW’s 4-Motion all-wheel drive system.

VW does not currently take reservations for the Kampervans in Australia . Pricing information is not yet available.
