We are waiting for VW’s official announcement.
Volkswagen has been pushing hard to develop electric vehicles through its ID sub-brand. Already, the company offers the ID.3 ID.4 and the ID.5. It is not clear what the next ID model will be, but it could be called the ID.4 Coupe or the ID.4 GTX. It could be called the ID.4 Coupe or the ID.4 GTX. Although its name is still a mystery, the appearance of the crossover is not. Recent spy photos show it in little camouflage.
Our spy photographers have seen the coupe-like crossover before, but this is not the first time they’ve seen it in the wild. VW has not yet officially revealed the model, although spy photos have previously shown it time and again looking ready to go. The company has already announced that this could change.
It will reveal the ID.4 GTX in the next month If we refer to the ID.5 as such, it is actually the ID.4 GTX. Soon enough, we’ll find out. These photos show a crossover that is very similar to the ID.4, but VW has made some changes to its styling. The rear window is more prominent and the tailgate accommodates the sleeker design. This is the sportier version, as it has a bumper with a fake dual exhaust. Interior of the ID.5 should look similar to that in the ID.4.
The ID.5 and ID.5 will share their powertrains. The new model will be available with a rear-wheel drive variant that produces 201 horsepower (150kW), and an all-wheel-drive dual-motor setup with 302 HP (225kW). When VW pulls off the ID.4 GTX covers, we’ll be able to see the new model in detail. VW already stated that it will not bring the ID.5 to the US.
