According to the company, a production version will be available in some markets by late 2021.

Although the Space Vizzion looks like a five-door wagon with a roof, VW does not want you to consider it an estate. The firm prefers to refer to this form as a new crossover that borrows elements from a grand tourer, but has utility similar to an SUV.

“So far, our ID. “With our ID.family, we have shown what electric vehicles can do in every known car category,” Klaus Bischoff (Head of Volkswagen Design), said in these teaser photos. “With the ID. Space Vizzion is a completely electric segment that we have created.”

The teaser VW has only two images of the cabin. They show four captain’s seats with a long console running between them. The digital cockpit features a narrow display in front of drivers and a larger screen at the center console. AppleSkin, a vegan leather-like material, is used for the upholstery.

The First ID. Models to Hit the Road:

Similar to the other ID. The Space Vizzion is a concept that rides on VW’s Modular Electric Drive Matrix, which was designed for future EVs. According to the company, this model will have a range of 300 miles (483 km).

VW has indicated that a production version is planned for the Space Vizzion concept in late 2021. The company will offer different versions for North America and Europe.

The ID.3 three door hatchback is the first model in this EV lineup that will go on sale, but it won’t be sold in the United States. The ID.4 crossover will be available to Americans in late 2020.
