The automaker has a lot of fun with its Drive Bigger campaign.
Friends, it’s not easy. This is true for both humans and sheep. However, we doubt a sheep has had to wait in long lines at the coffee shop. A sheep doesn’t have to politely inform the drunk, perturbed man at the door that Amy isn’t here but we digress.
This doesn’t necessarily mean that a sheep must be, um…a sheep. This Volkswagen video shows an intrepid animal who is eager to get away and finds the perfect opportunity using a Tiguan. It could be the SUV’s design, or the interior space or technology. Or maybe it’s just the way it looks. The woolly wanderer leaps in the back of the human hikers, regardless of the reason. Imagine their shock when they return home to realize Holy crap that there is a sheep in the area.
It’s funny, yes. The sheep is taking a walk, going for a bath, and using the toilet. You know what? This VW video is a great example of how we could all use some silly. It’s short and not too silly, and Motor1.com is catching it quite early. It will likely be repeated on social media and television, according to the automaker.
Officially called Break free, the video is part of VW’s Drive Bigger campaign, which aims to rekindle some old-school Volkswagen fun.
Kimberley Gardiner (senior vice president of marketing at Volkswagen of America), stated, “We’re delighted to share this campaign work and the evolution of Drive Bigger.” “We celebrate the little things in our lives that make us happier through good-natured storytelling.”
If we could get the sheep to wear a Stormtrooper costume, and ring up Darth Vader, this would be a memorable commercial. Are you listening, Volkswagen?
