Volvo and Heico Sportiv have teamed up to create a complete kit for their current C70. It will be displayed in Geneva.
Next week, the 2010 Geneva Motor Show will feature the Heico Sportiv-tuned facelift Volvo C70. Heico hopes to merge its vision with Volvo’s original C70 design without appearing too after-market.
Holger Hedtke, General Manager of Heico Sportiv, says that “our program kicks in wherever Volvo’s leaves off.” It’s characterized by supplementation and not substitution.
The parts installed include a front spoiler made from flexible, lightweight polyurethane, and a rear diffuser. There is also a stainless steel exhaust system with four chrome-plated pipes. The suspension has been reduced by approximately 30 millimeters. It rides on 9×20 inch forged tires.
Thonet, a furniture manufacturer, has supplied a limited-edition wooden lever for the gear shift. Heico revealed that the D5 and 2.0D will have an ECU upgrade.
