A recent report claims that the Volvo V40 Polestar will come with a supercharged turbocharged 2.0-liter four cylinder engine.
The Volvo V40 Polestar is getting new details.
Auto Express reports that the hot hatch will be powered by the 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine of the 2015 XC90. The car will produce 315 horsepower (234 kW) and accelerate from 0-60mph in six seconds. It can also reach a maximum speed of 155 mph (250 km/h).
The model will not only boast a powerful engine but also a sport-tuned suspension that features stiffer springs, beefier anti-roll bars and a stronger suspension. Ohlins shock absorbers and high-performance Brembo brakes are also available.
Although it is not clear if the model will come with all-wheel-drive, it is possible. The Cross Country has all-wheel drive on its range-topping T5.
