It’s back and it’s just as chunky.
We’d love to believe that the vanlife movement is dead. If you ask anyone what this means to them, they will likely say something along the lines that it involves building a Ford Transit and traveling the country. It was clear, however, that all vehicles are capable of the task after seeing the new Volkswagen T7 Multivan in the Swedish winter.
The VW Multivan is a vehicle that can serve as a vehicle for adventure. It can transport people, deliver goods, or even be used as a campervan. All this while still offering all the comforts of a VW.
These spy photos, which were taken recently, show that the development of the new model is already underway. The new T7 looks longer and more compact than the predecessor, while still maintaining the same sleek aesthetic. The new T7 isn’t yet ready for showroom, so don’t let your eyes mislead you.
Although the German automaker tried to hide the exterior, with mixed results, the interior tells a different story. Previous sightings have shown that the cockpit is heavily inspired from the Golf. The hatchback’s software problems have been a problem, but it remains to be seen if these issues will be fixed by the T7 Multivan.
Rumours suggest that the debut will see petrol, diesel and hybrid versions. We’ll need to continue looking at spy photos until we find out more.
