You are free to ignore pseudo YouTube supercar celebrities who may annoy.
You’d be amazed at the number of YouTube supercar channels. Every millennial who has a smartphone and has access to a supercar garage would think they are flexing. Numerous YouTubers ride through exotic cars like we do, looking for something to see. These personalities can sometimes be annoying in a showboating manner. Some create captivating and interesting content. This video from TheStradman YouTube channel falls somewhere in the middle. This video is both interesting and annoying. This is the place to find the middle ground.
The video shows a 17-year old friend of the YouTube channel Matt Spector taking a yellow Bugatti Chiron from his home to the state DMV to pass his driver’s exam. It’s fascinating to see a child driving a supercar worth a million dollars for his driver’s exam. The car is what’s most annoying, as the child must follow all traffic laws in order to pass the test. The Bugatti is all about amazement and shock. The Bugatti is not a drag racer, track-day action or a detailed look at its cool and intriguing features. The Chiron is used to attract attention. That’s okay, TheStradman YouTube channel has the ability to post whatever content it likes, but it feels cheap.
The video shows that the test was passed by the child, but it is disappointing. The driving instructor is just trying to assess people’s driving skills and doesn’t give any surprises. He can’t do anything exciting on the roads, otherwise he would risk failing his test. We get a woman doing her job in the Bugatti Chiron, while she obeys traffic laws. This is not compelling content.
You can decide for yourself. Although the video is quite long, the driver’s exam portion takes up only a small fraction of the video. It starts around six minutes and ends three minutes later.
