Look! Look! It’s a bird! It’s a plane! It’s a Kia Forte!
Kia is launching a new Forte model for the 2019 model year. To entice customers, the automaker has launched a new advertising campaign. Sedan sales are slowing so you need to do something to get people interested in a sedan. Kia has created a new ad with a 2019 Forte jumping on a race-car version. It’s pretty cool.
The commercial is very short at 40 seconds and features professional race car driver Collete Davis in the driver’s seat on the Forte. The commercial opens by showing the Kia Forte Race car in its Red Bull livery. The ad then switches to an inside-car shot showing Davis sitting in the driver’s chair of the Forte that you can purchase. As Davis’ Forte accelerates down the runway towards ramps, it lifts off over the Forte racecar. The touchscreen captures a shot of a gimmick before the camera cuts out the Kia as it lands in another pile of boxes.
A behind-the scenes video also shows seven angles from the stunt, as well as two views inside the car. It all looks easy, with the Kia landing in the boxes with a loud crunch. It seems like Davis enjoyed being in the driver’s chair.
The 2019 Kia Forte has a new design that draws heavily from the sportier Stinger. It features a coupe-like body and sportier front fascias, with oval tailpipes and swept-back headlights. Although it is sportier in appearance, its mechanical parts are more efficient. The 2019 Forte is powered by a 2.0-liter four cylinder engine that produces 147 horsepower and 132 pounds-feet torque. You can choose between a six-speed manual transmission or the company’s custom-built CVT gearbox.
Nobody will ever jump in their new Kia Forte. It is an excellent way to get people excited about the car. You can enjoy some rumors about a sportier version.
