As demonstrated by Maro Engel, AMG GT3 racing driver late in 2018, the GT R Pro can lap Nurburgring in 7 minutes. What about someone who isn’t a full-fledged racing driver? Christian Gebhardt from Sport Auto, who is a skilled driver, was able to take the supercar on a short run in the track-focused supercar.

He finished in 7 minutes, 6.60 seconds. That’s only two seconds less than Maro Engel, a German professional racing driver. The GT R Pro, which was driven hard at the Nürnbergring, was equipped with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2ZP tires that allow for maximum track performance.
