Watch the Ford Mustang Mach-E1400 do some insane drifts and donuts

The Ford Mustang E 1400 looks amazing in photos. But now it’s time for you to experience the powerful EV on the road. While the seven electric motors make a loud banshee’s sound, they can also be used to power a number of high-powered Mustangs such as Ken Block’s Hoonicorn.This one-off machine has 1,400 horsepower (1.044) kilowatts of power from seven electric motors. It is absolutely capable of lighting up your tires. As the machine spins 360 degrees, smoke pours from its wheel wells.
The Mach-E 1400 can be operated as either front- or rear-wheel drive. At 160 mph (258 km/h), the aggressive bodywork, which includes a massive front splitter and huge rear wing, weighs in at over 2,300 lbs (1.043 kg). The video shows us a bit of the electric crossover’s ability to grip a track, but the dramatic smokey drifts are much more impressive.
This video shows the construction process of the Mach-E 1400. Ford Performance and RTR began with a body in-white. This comprehensive overhaul included the installation of massive radiators at both ends to cool drivetrain components such as inverters, electric motors, and batteries. To make large drifts possible, the steering components have been redesigned to increase their turning range.
Brembo brakes were also added by the team, as well as a hydraulic handbrake that has a large handle right next to the driver. Despite these changes, Mach-E 1400 still has ABS and is capable of regenerative brakes.
RTR and Ford Performance will display the Mach-E 1400 during upcoming NASCAR races. We hope that we will have another chance to film the EV at a track so we can see its incredible performance.
