Chassis number 170 of 150 is the sole Valkyrie in Norway, and it’s also one of the most beautiful.
Already, the first few Aston Martin Valkyrie customer examples have made it onto the roads – and many others, on the track. The Valkyrie has been seen wailing about its V12 at Goodwood, the UK, and attacking Mugello, Italy. We even had a run-in against the wall at Silverstone. Whoops.
The gorgeous Supernova Red Valkyrie is our favourite customer car so far. It is the only Valkyrie in Norway and it has been sat in our showroom for some time. But this week it was finally on the track.
Chassis number 70 of 150 brought its talents to Rudskogen Motorsenter in Oslo for an unforgettable day of great sounds and amazing visuals. The owner – @valkyrie.supersixtynova on Instagram – was nice enough to share this highly produced video (embedded above) and a few photos of the car in action.
This Valkyrie has 1,160 horsepower (865 kilowatt), and it is powered by a 6.5-liter hybrid V12. This power allows it to reach 60 mph in 2.5 seconds and go on to top out at 250 mph (402 km/h). The convertible model is capable of reaching speeds up to 205 mph (335 kmh).
Customers who want a more extreme version of the Valkyrie may choose to spend more on the Pro model. The track-only model drops its hybrid setup to 1,160 horsepower and drops it to 1,000 (735kW) for the sake of lightness. The Valkyrie AMR Pro is limited to 40 models.
