The Oscar Mayer Wienermobile van was up for consideration, but it was a VW and didn’t measure more than a foot.
Food trucks are everywhere these days but they rarely look as cool as this Volkswagen T2 Transporter, which serves sausages and other snacks at Swarovski Kristallwelten in Austria. The trailer even conceals the coolers. This strange rig seems like the best way for you to get the wurst.
The machine’s yellow, bubble-like body makes it very attractive. The large panel on the one-side allows the chef to enter the small kitchen. A pop-up roof gives plenty of headroom. The hatch on the opposite side allows for ordering and serving. This van is even more interesting because of the sausage-shaped tables surrounding it. The video shows that the van’s owner is a successful entrepreneur selling wursts and other drinks.
The cockpit can still be seen from the inside. This means that the owner might still have the ability to transport the rig and trailer wherever there is food. It must have been quite an experience to see the contraption in banana yellow and cloud shape rolling down the road. It’s a strange take on the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile.
It is worth noting Volkswagen makes its sausage every day and produces around 18,000 units. Even the wurst has its own VW part number. It is possible that this van could not only be a VW from the outside, but also serve hot dogs. This is a wonderful combination.
