While many automakers are moving away from compact cars, MercedesBenz is launching the production for its fourth-generation AClass. This began earlier this month. Seven more compact cars were also announced by the company. In anticipation, here’s a X-Tomi Design rendering that allows you to preview one of these machines, as an A-Class Coupe.
Mercedes’ Modular Front Architecture is used to power the A-Class. This architecture also supports the B–Class CLA and CLA Shooting Brake. GLA. If you add the A-Class, that’s five models. What about the three other models? This beautiful rendering shows you what happens when you shrink the styling of the C-Class coupe to fit the A-Class chassis.
The greenhouse was inspired by the C-Class, as can the upward kick towards the rear window’s tail. The car’s overall design is highlighted by the flowing lines along the body and the scalloped sides. This car looks amazing with two doors.
There is no indication that the next three Mercedes compact cars will be coupes or A-Classes as of now. The chassis is already used in several models so it’s possible that the third one could be one of these. We have no plans to stop dreaming. A Mercedes-AMG A45 Mercedes-AMG model will be equipped with a turbocharged 2.0-liter engine that produces more than 400 horsepower and sends that power to the newly developed 4Matic all wheel-drive system. All that power and performance in an elegant, compact coupe.
Maybe the next MFA vehicle will satisfy our love for wagons – such as this rendering by X-Tomi Design, an A-Class wagon. We’ll be happy with any Mercedes product.
