German tuner increases 60 hp, 68 Nm of torque and adds new 20-inch wheels to the DB9 convertible. Also included is a polyurethane kit and a body kit.
Wheelsandmore, a German tuner, has some thoughts about the Aston Martin DB9 convertible.
The performance upgrade to the 6.0-liter V12 engine comes as a production version. It has 476 horsepower and 600 Nm (442 Lb-ft) of torque. Wheelsandmore increases that engine by 60 horsepower and adds 68 Nm (50lb-ft), of torque. The ECU was modified and a stainless-steel sports exhaust system was added with 200-cell sport catalytics and noise-volume control.
The package includes suspension-lowering, with the DB9 at 25 mm lower.
A new body kit for the DB9 is also available in polyurethane, including side skirts and spoilers and front and back aprons. Kahn RS-20 20-inch wheels are fitted to the convertible with Dunlop Sport Maxx performance rubbers – 255/35/20 front rims of 9.0×20 and 285/30/20 rear rims of 11.0×20.
