Although it’s a difficult taste to get used to, it is possible.
The Lamborghini Urus is already a very polarizing vehicle. Although it wasn’t the first SUV from Sant’Agata Bolognese this vehicle is certainly the most athletic. It has a 4.0-liter twin turbo V8 underneath that produces 650 horsepower. Although the styling is a bit crazy, it does look like a Lamborghini. But you could argue that it’s not mad enough. You can park the Urus next an Aventador SVJ to give it some thought.
1016 Industries offers a solution to Urus owners looking for something more extravagant. They offer snazzy body kit options for supercars such as the Urus’ Forged Carbon kit that includes side skirts, front lips, and a large rear diffuser. The package now includes a new widebody kit, and RDB LA’s crew bolted everything up into a sparkling white Urus as shown in the video above. We were ready to be passive-aggressive about how ugly it was, but we didn’t. It’s not ugly. It’s Freaking awesome . Before you become passive-aggressive or full-on aggressive, we will tell you.
Although we’ve seen a lot of aftermarket widebody builds for supercars, the end result almost always looks small and stretched out on the X-axis. The Urus is not small, so it’s better to go with something slightly larger. This kit adds extra weight to the SUV, giving it a mean look. To make sure that the extra space between flared fenders and the extension is filled properly, a set 24 inch-diameter wheels were installed. The wheels at the back measure 13 inches in width and do not reach the extension’s lip.
RDB LA gave the Urus a pearl-white wrap with satin brushed finish. To give the face a cleaner appearance, the stock Urus headlights had to be disassembled. The orange reflector was also painted black. The only thing we don’t like about this build is the reflectors. They help with visibility. We doubt that anyone would not be able to see the sinister SUV parked on the street.
The video shows that the Urus white model still needs final touches, while the black model, which has the same kit, still requires proper wheels to complete its project. Motor1.com users, what do you think? Are you a fan of the widebody Urus or too extravagant for a Lamborghini
