Facebook marketplace is already an amazing place. But, it just recently added the cheesen-ator, which is a jet-powered cheese wedge car. The project is available for sale in Lake Geneva (Wisconsin), and was designed by Dieter Strum, an engineer and expert on fine dairy products.
Your eyes are not deceiving you. That is a Jet Engine that sits behind your driver. The thrust output of the vehicle is not known, but there is a 6 horsepower (4.4-kilowatts) gas engine that can be used to power the jet. The vehicle can be purchased as a complete solution for $16000. However, it is clear that you cannot price a flame-throwing wedge. The price includes a micro monster truck body as a bonus for the lactose intolerant petrolhead.
There are so many cheeses available, it’s easy to see why this thing is named after Sharp cheddar. However, the body panels are decorated with more that just cheese. The sides of the vehicle are intricately decorated with flames that expose skulls in the blaze. The flames, aside from being pseudo-Ghost Rider-esque, are appropriate because jet engines can ignite any object they come across.
Don’t worry if your cheese stick isn’t melting in your lap because of the price. This thing is much more than a mere wedge in your pocket. It is also extremely expensive and produces incredible performance. A demo video of the Cheese-n-ator would be a great idea. Jet engines can produce huge amounts of propulsion within a small package, while also producing an incredible amount of noise, fire and smoke.
This project, despite its shortcomings in performance, is an excellent example of what is possible in the automotive industry without any limitations. Who would have thought that a jet-powered cheese wedge could be possible? No. No.
