Imagine the LaFerrari successor in 2020.

250 GTO and 288 GTO, as well as F40, F50 and Enzo are just a few of the iconic flagships that have come from Maranello. The 288 GTO was phased out in 1983 after less than 300 units were built. It is still a special car and is considered to be the first supercars by the brand. It was created specifically to be a part of the wonderful Group B, which it never had the opportunity to enter. Now it is coming back… in virtual reality.

Matthew Parsons, a talented artist, has created a new flagship model that will serve as the successor to the LaFerrari. The 2020 vision of a 288 GTO revival, which only exists digitally, looks to the future. It draws inspiration from the past and merges cues with current Ferrari offerings in order to create a beautiful melange.

It can be painted in traditional Rosso Corsa, or in a different white coat. This car is a fitting tribute to the 1984 launch of its predecessor. Given that a LaFerrari replacement will probably be a long way away, this gives us the opportunity to fuel our imaginations and try to predict which Ferrari range toppings will follow. We are more than happy with this suggestion.

The modern 288 GTO has a lot of work ahead. This is because the original version was more rare than the Ferrari crown gems that followed it. Already, we can imagine a track-only version similar to the LaFerrari-based FXXK in tribute to the rare 288 GTO Evoluzione. Only a few were ever produced.
