Next year, deliveries will begin.
The Milan Red has a new video and photos that give a better view. Markus Fux, the Austrian entrepreneur behind this supercar, hopes to have the wild beast on the roads by 2019. The supercar’s eye-watering cost of 1.8 million Euros ($2.1 Million at current exchange rates) has already attracted 18 reservations.
The Milan Red is not worth the price. It needs serious performance. The 6.2-liter quad-turbo V8 produces 1,307 horsepower (975 Kilowatts) as well as 1,303 pound-feet (1.400 Newton-meters of torque). This power is sent exclusively to the rear wheels via a seven-speed gearbox. According to the company, the hypercar can reach speeds of 62 mph (100 km/h) in 2.47 seconds. It also has a top speed of 249 mph (400 km/h). The suspension wishbones, as well as the entire chassis’ load-bearing structure, are made of carbon fiber to keep the hypercar’s weight at 2,866 pounds (1.300 kilograms).
Two enormous intakes at the front of the design are so large that the headlights can actually be integrated into them. Strakes divided them into several sections to break up the design and direct air where it is needed. The sides have large vents that allow air to flow through the four turbos at the engine’s mid-mounted. Milan Red is named after a bird of prey. The taillights of the Milan Red are reminiscent of the feathers on hawk wings.
Although there aren’t any photos yet of the cabin, the company claims that it is a high-tech space. It has all modern amenities and a gauge to visualize the driver’s heartbeat.
According to Autofilou, a running prototype will be unveiled at the 2019 Vienna Auto Show. The final car will be revealed at the Geneva Motor Show in February, and the first vehicle will be delivered in the middle next year.
